Zimbabwe To Host International Tourism Exhibition

In October, Zimbabwe will be hosting the premier tourism travel exhibition at the Harare International Conference Center, featuring about 157 exhibitors that will be participating. China is the partner country for this year’s edition in appreciation of the increasing numbers of tourists arrivals from that country.

Karikoga Kaseke, the Chief Executive of the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority, ZIA, said over 157 exhibitors, 16 foreign companies, 13 countries, 30 media houses from across the globe and 65 buyers have confirmed participation.

Hospitality Association of Zimbabwe Administrator Violet Rukande commended ZTA for heeding the call by industry to change the venue of the exhibition from the Agriculture show grounds to the HICC. The tourism and travel fair will kick off in the form of a Sanganai street procession which will culminate in the famous tourism night.
