The Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA, said nineteen ships carrying petroleum products sailed into Lagos ports on Friday.
The report said that 14 of the vessels are carrying petrol, four, aviation fuel and one 5,500 tonnes of kerosene.
According to the report, 10 other ships are waiting to berth at the ports, including one conveying 38,840 tonnes of bulk cement, and others carrying rice, wheat, fish, and fertilizer. 111 ships are expected to arrive with assorted cargoes this month.
Petroleum products, base oil, secondhand vehicles, and merchandise, including rice, bulk malt and soya beans are other items expected to arrive.
