Nigeria’s entertainment industry has been hit by the untimely death of Obiajulu Nwaozor, who is better known as MC Loph. He died in an accident earlier today while driving on the notorious Benin-Ore expressway to Anambra State in the Eastern part of the country for his traditional wedding.
His wife to be was also in the vehicle with him, and she was reported to have also passed away.
MC Loph, the only son in a family of four became an instant celebrity when he did a remix of Osita Osadebey’s Osondi Owendi, an award winning song that enjoys airplay till date. Though his songs tilted towards Highlife, he classified them as Afro-Hip Hop as they contained elements of Rap. He graduated from the University of Nigeria Nsukka with a degree in Sociology and Anthropology.
