The General Overseer of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, Prophet T.B Joshua, has donated vehicles, office equipment and a parcel of land to the Accra Regional Police Command.
Among the gifts were: a Nissan Sentra, KIA Pride and KIA Spectra, were laptops, a fridge, a bed, and two plots of land situated at Nsawam.
Prophet T.B Joshua, represented by a member of the church, Kofi Appeaning, indicated that the items were to help the police in the discharge of their duties. The two plots of land were to be used to build a police station to ease the pressure on the existing ones.
He added that the Synagogue Church of All Nations thought it appropriate to support the police in their efforts to curb crime in the system.
The Accra Regional Police Commander, DCOP Rose Bio Atinga, who received the items on behalf of the Inspector General Of Police, IGP, thanked the church, especially Prophet T.B Joshua, for the kind gesture.
She noted that fighting crime was not the sole responsibility of the police.
DCOP Bio Atinga noted, “The public must also help by giving out information about the activities of criminals and also make donations of useful items such as vehicles and cash to collectively help the police fight crime.”
