The Nigerian Super Eagle star, Obafemi Martins, has acquired a multi million naira property in London UK.
The 6 bedroom apartment, which is located in Kent, outside London, cost the footballer about £1 million.
The property has an expensive lawn, a swimming pool and GYM. It is said to have 2 living rooms and two kitchens.
He acquired the property while he was playing for Newcastle but recently completed paying the mortgage and is now a proud owner of the house.
Obafemi Martins now plies his trade in Russia where he plays for top division club Rubin Kazan.
The 26-year-old is a Nigerian footballer who plays as a striker for Rubin Kazan and the Nigeria national team. He is known for his speed on the ball. After leaving Nigeria for Italy at age 16, he has since played for a number of top-division clubs around Europe. He began his senior career in 2002 at the Italian Serie A club Inter Milan, before moving to the English Premier League club Newcastle in 2006, and then the German Bundesliga club Wolfsburg in 2009. Having joined Russian Premier League side Rubin Kazan in July 2010, they loaned him to Birmingham City in January 2011.
