Music Video: “Subsidy Matters For Your Pocket” – By Tha Suspect

Nigerian musician Tha Suspect a.k.a Person Pickin, has produced an upbeat music condemning the removal of oil subsidy by the federal government. The song echoes the voice of the masses who have gone on a nationwide strike and filled the streets of the West African country to protest against the subsidy removal.

The song stresses the impact of the subsidy removal on the common people’s “pockets.” It also criticizes various singers who have praised President Goodluck Jonathan in the past, many of which are now disappointed in his government.

David Peter, a.k.a Tha Suspect was born in Lagos; he spent his early days on the streets of Ikeja, Orishe to be precise. click to visit his music page.
