The idea of the singer appearing in virtual form has been in the spotlight ever since Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg performed alongside a hologram of the late rapper Tupac Shakur at the Coachella Festival in Los Angeles.
Michael’s brother ‘Jackie’ told The Sun when asked if he could see the late singer, who died in 2009, being brought to life in the same way.
He said: “It could have been Michael – absolutely. Wouldn’t that be wonderful? As a matter of fact, we had the same idea two years ago for Michael’s Cirque du Soleil show.”
However a source told the tabloid that while such a tour could potentially be ‘the most lucrative of all time’ it would take a lot of negotiating before it could happen.
