Help Me Curb Terrorism, Jonathan Tells Nigerians

President Goodluck Jonathan has urged Nigerians to assist him and security agents in the country to curb terrorism across the nation.

He also tasked the citizens in nation building and urged them to be vigilant in order to assist the law enforcement agents to put criminal activities under control.

President Jonathan made the call yesterday in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State at the foundation laying ceremony of the federal secretariat in the state.

In a related development, the federal government has struck a military deal with no fewer than 17 countries in its bid to contain the menace of terrorism occasioned by the criminal activities of a terror group in the country.

This was disclosed yesterday in Abuja by the Minister of Defence, Dr. Bello Haliru Mohammed while speaking at the on-going ministerial platform organised to commemorate the one year administration of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.

Mr. President is appealing to all Nigerians. If you know you don‘t any other country apart from Nigeria, let‘s be prayerful and seek God‘s intervention. May Almighty Allaah touch the hearts of those evil men who are perpetrating this act of terrorism. It is a big crime against humanity & Allaah. Whatever motive they have in mind is defeated because bomb explosion does not select the innocent victims on religious, political or ethnic inclination. It is synonimous to throwing stone in the market. Oh Allaah, the most beneficient & most merciful, many people have gone since this evil started in my fatherland & my only country, Nigeria and others are living in fear, pls oh lord of mankind & all that exist remove this from us and shower your blessings upon us, guide our leaders aright. Amin. The masses should rise up to say NO to this violence because we are at the receiving end. Since the advent of the three types of boko haram(as somebody said) , how many relations of the past & present ministers, governors, senators, presidents etc were killed? So we need to pray objectively and not fanatically. It is only Allaah that knows what is hidden. Long live Nigeria & long live patriotic Nigerians.
