Police prosecutor Stephen Eimgeo told the court that on May 16 at Gida Dayo Orozo, the accused requested for water to drink from the victim in an uncompleted building.
Eimgeo said that as the victim presented the water to him, he held her two hands, pushed her to the ground and forcibly had sexual intercourse with her.
The accused, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The judge, Umar Kagarko, ordered that the accused be remanded in Keffi Prison and adjourned the case to July 4 for further hearing.
