Mrs Diezani Alison-Madueke, the Minister of Petroleum Resources, has on Wednesday debunked stories making the round that she was hospitalised in a London hospital for an undisclosed ailment, describing it as untrue.
Recalled that Mrs. Madueke’s was said to have been hospitalised with her condition described as “potentially serious,” adding that her condition “assumed a dire dimension recently.”
Another report says Diezani has been hospitalised late last week for stress-related ailment after she accompanied President Goodluck Jonathan to commission new oil fields in Anambra state last Thursday.
Meanwhile, the minister has reacted to the reports on Wednesday through social network stating that both she and members of her family were well.
The statement read; “on the contrary to recently published articles concerning my health, I haven’t been hospitalized in London. Both my family and I are well.”
