This is coming two weeks after four students of UNIPORT were killed in a Omuokiri, Aluu.
Report says the victims were returning from the celebration of the passing out of the former member of the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC), who concluded his service same Thursday, when the car they were driving in skidded off the road and ran into a shop in the village.
No life was lost in the accident. It was during an argument that ensued between the owner of the shop and the occupants of the car that a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) pulled over nearby and the occupants opened fire on the three of them, killing them ion the spot.
Confirming the incident, the Rivers State Police Public Relations Officer, Ben Ugwuegbulam (DSP), said security agencies had begun investigation into the matter.
Ugwuegbulam, who stated that the incident occurred around 9.30 p.m., assured that those behind the killing would be brought to book.
The names of the victims could not be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.
