At least 15 people have died in the East Coast of the United States due to Hurricane Sandy, which is reported as one of the biggest storms to ever hit the U.S. More than seven million people woke up Tuesday morning without power, and New York’s public transportation – trains and buses – have remained closed as seven subway tunnels are flooded. Also, more than 80 homes caught fire in Queens, New York, and countless trees have fallen due to the heavy storm. Take a look at some pictures of the devastation by Getty Image and CNBC.
