The party’s National Chairman, Chief Frank Ohwofa, made the call on Sunday in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja.
Ohwofa, who decried the manner in which lives were being lost in the country on daily bases, also called on the Federal Government to consider all options to bring an end to the carnage.

The party chairman advised security agencies to adopt a holistic approach in tackling the challenge in the country.
Ohwofa also urged the various security agencies in the country to make judicious use of the funds allocated them, especially in the area of personnel training and modern equipment.
“It should be a duty for all security personnel to be sent on training to equip them with modern security devices that will enable them to meet up with the modern challenges.
“The government on its part should equally ensure adequate funding of the security sector to ensure efficiency on the job.”
He, however, opposed the creation of state police, saying most politicians would abuse it by converting the officers to their personal thugs.
