Governor Isa Yuguda of Bauchi state has said that late strongman of Kwara politics, Dr. Olusola Saraki had thought Nigerian leaders uprightness, welfarism and service to humanity.

Speaking when he visited son of the late politician, Senator Bukola Saraki in Ilofa GRA residence in Ilorin on Thursday, Governor Yuguda said Late Saraki left an exemplary life for present generation of Nigerian leaders.

The governor, also called on God to grant his family the fortitude to bear the loss.

Also speaking, Hon Dr Rafiu Ibrahim, representing offa/oyun/ifelodun federal constituency described, baba Saraki as an embodiment of political engineer, a master strategist, a kind-hearted gentleman.

“He created a lot of successful politicians and businessmen, always willing to help. Nigeria has lost a political kingpin of exceptional ability and peace builder. His example is of sterling value.

The Former Acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje, also described the late Waziri of Ilorin as an astute grassroots mobilizer and a true democrat that will be missed not only by people of Kwara but the entire nation.

Alhaji Baraje in his condolence message over the death of late Waziri of Ilorin to the government and people of Kwara State, said Dr. Saraki lived his political life for humanity and the socio-political emancipation of the people.

According to him, the 47- year Sojourn of late Dr Saraki in politics motivated most politicians including himself into politics, adding that what he had achieved today in life was through the political tutelage he went through from the late leader.

Alhaji Baraje noted that Dr Saraki played politics without bitterness and appealed to Nigerian politicians to emulate his style of politicking and significant spirit of philanthropy as he created a political platform that brought most people to political limelight.

He urged the people of Kwara State not to allow the death of late Dr Saraki to cause any disunity or rancour among them but rather they should continue to remain united and be loyal to the constituted authorities.
