UPDATE: Report says the fire, which started around 7:00pm, affected entire last floor of the three-story building.
No one was injured in the fire but valuable property was destroyed in the unfortunate incident.
The second floor, which is the firm’s advert, circulation, credit control and audit units as well as the offices of the top management staff members, was lightly affected.
A source in the publishing firm said it was caused by power surge, which according to him, resulted from failing to put off all office appliances in some of the offices on the third floor.
