The ELOY awards is an annual event meant to focus on the women, reward the female folks in as many areas as possible for being outstanding during the year.
It is gradually becoming a fantastic platform in the mode of Black Girls Rock in America.
This year’s edition took place on Sunday, November 24, 2012 at Porsche Center, Akin Adesola, Victoria Island, Lagos. There were over 300 guests in attendance.
Also the idea is to use a veritable platform like the ELOY to bring the much needed attention to something that has become a scourge for the women, in this case Cervical Cancer.
ELOY means Exquisite Ladies of the Year award. This year’s edition was another slam-dunk and kudos must go the way of the organizers, led by the very exquisite Tewa Onasanya, the Editor-in-Chief at Exquisite Magazine, they did their best and delivered on their promises.
