Ghana-born Nigerian singer Timi Dakolo and his wife, Bisola Dakolo, were today saved from death as they could have died in today’s helicopter crash which claimed the life of the Kaduna State Governor Patrick Yakowa, a former national security adviser Owoeye Azazi, and others.

Dakolo and his wife attended the burial ceremony of the father of Oronto Douglas, the Special Adviser on Research and Documentation to President Jonathan.

Dakolo, who is expected to perform at the closing ceremony of the ‘Rivers State Carnival‘, escaped death when he decided to travel by road at the last minute, instead of flying along with the victims of helicopter crash.
