The upcoming Nigerian singer, Damilola Ibrahim Olaniyan better known as Damino Damoche, who was gunned down by unknown assailants on Thursday, February 28, 2013 in front of the gate of the Lagos State University, LASU, was finally laid to rest today, Saturday, March 2, 2013.
Damino died at the age of 25. He is survived by his mother (a widow), a senior brother, and another younger brother.
Damoche was born in Lagos into a family of three but a native of Ogun State.
He was a final year Banking student at the school.
Report says the musician was a victim of a budding war between the ‘Black Axe Confraternity’ and the ‘Buccaneer Confraternity’ of which the musician allegedly belonged to.
